In order to grow the capability to increase revenues of consumable products (Process Improvement Products) and to provide global infrastructure and manage supply chain to maximise next business day delivery capability to key markets globally for distributed products, we are looking for a

Global Distributed Products Manager (f/m)

Key Goal is to develop & implement a strategy to increase revenues of consumables (Process Improvement Products) by 15% +/- annum and maintain and grow the business profitability

Main Responsibilities:

  • Market profiling
  • Product (Portfolio) Management
    • To define and evolve a product range that leverages the company’s opportunities in the marketplace.
    • To identify the areas of applications superiority a) yield b) productivity c) cost reduction, and be able to quantify this in customer language.
    • Be the voice of customer in working with suppliers.
    • Work with category buyer(s) to identify the right suppliers for sourcing projects.
    • To ensure that PIP products feature in engineering development projects and are built-into software (default machine settings) and engineering development. I.e. that the company supports it’s Process Improvement Products which in turn support the 4P performance of the platform


  • Marketing:
    • Identify the best tactics to market the product portfolio to the market profile.
    • Deliver marketing brief to the marketing communication team to setup effective marketing plans.
    • Deliver marketing brief for online channel communication
    • Deliver product lauch plans to marketing


  • Sales Channel Support:
    • Develop and support regional product champions
      in the business for company consumables.
    • Provide training and sales tools.


Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

– Possess a minimum of 5 years experience of the electronic manufacturing industry in a product management or sales management / technical marketing orientated role. – Experience in managing global (remote) (project) teams. – Strong communication skills. – Ability to inspire customers, colleagues and suppliers. – Sound technical background, Know How – Entrepreneurial skills and capability to think and act strategically. – Six sigma background useful but not essential. – Global travel is fundamental to the activities of the role. e.g. approx 25 – 50% time. – German, English business level communication, other languages are a benefit (French, Chinese)
